Inspiration
The Nevada Association of Student Councils understands that sometimes as leaders we may get discouraged. At times, we wonder, “Am I truly destined to be a leader?” Well, the answer is undoubtedly yes, but sometimes we need a little pick-me-up along the way. Inspiration is the catalyst to ambition. In order for us to have desire to achieve greater things, we must constantly be inspired. NASC hopes that through archiving information and resources from our conferences that whenever you are feeling a little discouraged, you can turn to these resources to be reminded of the awesome task that has been given to you; the task to lead.
The following are outlined steps that tell you how we plan on keeping you inspired throughout the year:
- Thanks to all of Nevada’s workshop presenters and their hard work, when consent is given, we will upload their workshop content into an archive on the Nevada StuCo website.
- All of the workshop information will be compiled into an e-book that will have a: cover page, letters from the hosts of the conference, summaries from the keynotes, and much more. Having this resource at your fingertips will be sure to spark inspiration when needed!
How does my council come into play?
Again, please encourage this resource to your councils! Also, tell your other leader friends all about the conference e-books that will be made available to them. If you are a workshop presenter, please, share your content and ideas with the leaders of Nevada so that they may continue to be inspired. Additionally, if there were any points from the conference that you feel are important to be added into the e-book, let us know!
